    Really cute restaurant, authentic diner atmosphere and nice staff! If you're looking for an aesthetic place to eat, this is it! The prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were quite good! Small place but makes up for it with a lot of character.

    Hash browns done on the grill you say? People still do that? And you can get onions in it? With 2 eggs and real ham a d homemade bread INCLUDING tea or coffee .....only 8.50

    And tip the waitress  real good. She's been there 51 years and she got up at 5am just to make sure that there was coffee for you to drink.

    Best diner breakfast we've ever had! Exactly what you'd expect - well done breakfast choices, including eggs, bacon, oatmeal, etc.

    1 long counter for patrons to sit at, with the cooks in the galley kitchen right before your eyes. No tables - everyone sits at the counter.

    This is my favourite neighbourhood restaurant. It and I are the same age, 71!
    Mostly I have breakfast here but occasionally I will have lunch. The breakfast menu is typical of most independent cafes and I have tried them all. If there is a signature breakfast it is the 'everything omelette' with toast and beans. This is a full meal deal cooked to perfection with a love for the job. The owners are extremely friendly and the decor brings me back to my teenage years.

    Not the same at all since the new owners took over. They are from Asia and can't make a great stew to save their soul. I won't be going again that's for sure !!!
